How to Submit Your Press Release to PR Web

1. To start with, log into your PRWeb Account. If you don't have one, you can start one for free. Just go to the site and click "Submit Release" as shown below.

2. Next, choose your Distribution Package. The image and descriptions below are current at the time of posting this tutorial. It is possible that changes in packages may occur.

Standard: Gets your press release directly to consumers and media through Yahoo! News, Google News as well as popular search engines
Social Media: Standard list plus PRWeb TrackBacks, social bookmarking and Web 2.0 site links are also added to your press release page providing traction in the blogosphere.
SEO: everything listed above plus you get the use of PRWeb's SEO Wizard for keyword discovery and analysis, add anchor text links, SEO distribution monitoring, etc.
Media: All above plus distribution through the AP and enhanced reporting features that allow you to map your readers geographically and tools to easily create and export distribution reports.
Other: A minimum of $10 is required to submit any press release
Easy Submit: For an additional $100 PRWeb will format your press release, attach logos, photos, etc to it for you.

3. Choose Your "Enhancements". The screen is shown below:

Once you're done, click Next.

4. Submit Your Payment. Choose your payment, enter your details and click "Continue".

5. Enter the details of your press release. Be sure to read the notes beside each text box.

Click "Save Press Release" when you're done.

6. Review Previously Submitted Release Details. Click on "My Account" to see your account activity details.

You can see when you've submitted a release, when it is scheduled to be distributed and even upgrade your service as shown below:

7. Check your statistics. PRWeb provides statistics that can be helpful in evaluating your campaigns. Just click on "Statistics":

You can select a release, compare your results, export and print your stats as well. Just make your choices from the menu as shown below:
